All services are subject to availability and confirmation at the time of booking.

3. Quotes and Bookings

  • Quotes are provided based on the information you supply and are valid for 14 days.
  • Quotes are non-binding until confirmed in writing by EdinMove Removals.
  • Prices may vary based on access issues, number of items, travel time, or unexpected delays.
  • It is your responsibility to provide accurate details, including addresses, dates, and item lists.

4. Payments

  • Payment terms will be agreed at the time of booking.
  • We accept bank transfer or card payment (unless otherwise arranged).
  • A deposit may be required to secure your booking.
  • Final payment is due on completion of the move, unless agreed otherwise.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the agreed service date will receive a full refund (if a deposit was paid).
  • Cancellations within 48 hours of the move may result in a cancellation fee of up to 50%.
  • We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel bookings due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., severe weather, vehicle breakdown, illness).

6. Insurance and Liability

  • We take every care with your belongings, but we advise customers to have their own removals insurance if needed.
  • Our team is insured for public liability and goods in transit (standard cover applies).
  • We are not liable for:
    • Damage caused by poor packaging or unboxed items
    • Delicate items not declared in advance
    • Delays due to traffic, road closures, or third-party access issues

7. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Ensure clear access to all premises involved in the move
  • Pack all items safely (unless packing services have been booked)
  • Inform us of any large or heavy items in advance (e.g. pianos, safes, appliances)
  • Be present or appoint a representative during the move

8. Prohibited Items

We do not transport:

  • Illegal goods or controlled substances
  • Explosives, firearms, or ammunition
  • Perishable food or live animals
  • Hazardous materials (e.g. paint, gas, chemicals)

9. Website Use

By using our website, you agree to:

  • Not misuse or tamper with the site’s functionality or security
